Korcula -day 2
Not much to blog about today! It was basically almost the exact same as yesterday!

Then we walked into town. Remember it is about a 20 minute walk but quite scenic!

Then once we had wandered most of the town we stopped for a drink at a restaurant with a nice view!

We got a password for wireless from the restaurant so we were able to move to a quiet street next door and call the kids before they went to school. Calling is awkward with the time change. We have to either call between 1pm and 1:30pm which at home is just before school. Usually though we are out enjoying the day and don't have wireless. Or else we have to wait until 10:30pm when the kids are home from daycare and the night owls we are, we don't often make it that late! 😳
Pretty nice view for lunch!

Listening to our audio books while soaking up the sun!

Just back from a fantastic dinner in Korcula. We left here while the sun was starting to set just before 7pm, getting into town at around 7:30ish. Just as we were getting to town a giant yacht pulled up. We decided to watch the docking and unloading process. It was quite interesting to see the crew (we estimate 5 or 6 of them) anchor and dock the boat, get the gangplank out, attach railings to the gangplank, put a stair down and finally the 7 rich yacht era emerged wearing their fancy clothes and huge diamond earrings and holding super expensive purses. What a life they must lead!

It's 10pm and we just got back to the apartment now. It was a great evening in Korcula!

Had an awesome breakfast on our balcony.

We wandered along the back streets of Korcula a bit...

We wanted to have a picnic lunch on our balcony. We had bought sandwich stuff earlier but that Chinese chicken was so good from the day before that we went back and got an order to go to Split along with our sandwiches.

Then we got our bathing suits on and soent the rest of the day at the beach! It was so beautiful and great snorkling again. I saw a pretty blue fish with a long nose like a swordfish!

Then we went back to our rooms to shower (so sticky from the salt water). We are currently having a glass of wine on our patio (so you sense a theme from today?) before we walk back into Korcula for dinner and hopefully some ambience after dark! PA totally kicking myself for not bringing our tracel wine glasses. I can't believe it never crossed my mind!

We started looking for a place to eat around 8pm. We passed the perfect pizza place. It was absolutely bustling and the pizzas looked and smelled delicious. We had to wait for a table and it was worth the wait! Delicious food!

Here are a few more pictures from tonight. Tomorrow it's off to our last stop in Dubrovnik (waaaaaahhhhhh).
